Alright the Winter 2011 season has started. This should be interesting. Just glad I didn't miss it. Got stuck in a hospital for a week, so I was worried I would miss the start.
Also, for health reasons I'm stopping manga cleaning for awhile (possibly permanent).

Hajimete no Aku Volumes
Okay I typically hate reading manga by the chapter when I go back through. I also prefer storing them by the volume. It saves with less files lying around and also less space.
I'm involved with the series Hajimete no Aku and there were hardly any volumes made so I decided to go ahead.
In this folder there are volume 1 through 5 of the series. I was not involved in anywhere near all of them. It's also from a bunch of different groups. But since I combined them for myself I figure I should post it for everyone as well.

Ch67 Done.....now for 70
Okay Hajimete no Aku ch67 has been finished. I submitted it for QC and should probably be up in a few days. Now I'm working on ch70.
Someone else is working on ch69. They should be taking over the odd number chapters, so they'll be a regular.

Hajimete no Aku Update
Okay Hajimete no Aku ch68 was finished and uploaded. And now, unfortunately, the group we were doing this alongside has dropped it. I'm working on ch67 now to try and get it finished, but it will take a few days.
So now that we're the ones doing it every week for the moment, the releases will probably take a little longer.
However I have no intention whatsoever of dropping it.

Working on Hajimete no Aku ch68
Hajimete no Aku ch66 was released earlier this week.
I started working on ch68 then as well (a few days before actually). Stage 1 cleaning is done, waiting for a trans now.
And Manga fans.....please remember to thank the groups who make series you like. Certain companies are starting to pursue legal action because of these series being available online (not from them).
So remember.....these groups are only around for now. Someday, near or far, they can be forced apart.
More articles on this can be found here for some of it.
So please also remember to support the mangaka of the series you love by purchasing their work when available. If they can't afford to get by.....they can't keep creating.

Been awhile but back for Hajimete no Aku
Haven't made a post in a bit so here goes an update.
I am currently in Typesetting and Stage 2 cleaning (SFX) for ch66 of Hajimete no Aku.
Current Anime season is going pretty good for those keeping up.
My favorite series of this season is Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaō. Angel Beats is a second. If you haven't watched them, You really should look them up......even if just on Wikipedia.
Can't wait to see the lineup for next season. Hope it's good.

Hajimete no Aku ch56 update and Anime stuff
Okay first off.....Hajimete no Aku ch56 is finished and up. I finished it anyway even though some jackass group tried to usurp the project from the 2 groups which do it regularly. They suck. I'll start cleaning ch58 either today or tomorrow.
And new anime season has started. Let's get a big applause here people. I mean BIG. Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou looks like it might be interesting so I'm keeping up with it. Kiss X Sis looks like it might be worth watching for the comedy act (even though slightly perverted--but who cares about that.....just adds to the enjoyment).
I don't know about any of the other series this season but I'll probably check some of them out.
Oh and I have heard that Baka to Test to Shokanju has been approved for a second season. It's an interesting show that makes fun of pokemon type things so I'm happy about it.

And a translation has been posted for Onihime VS ch12!!
Since this was one of my practice material chapters, I already have a cleaned version of it.
So later this week I might typeset it for the hell of it.

Nick Simmons doing VERY bad things
I'm not sure how many people know of this yet.....but there is a MAJOR plagiarization incident going on involving a certain comic here in the US.
The comic series "Incarnate" by Nick Simmons (Gene Simmon's son) is published by "Radical Comics". It has been discovered that, from what I've seen, nearly everything in it is taken from other series. Bleach was apparently used a lot.
There are articles now available showing actual side by side pictures of some of these. The images are almost EXACTLY identical. This has apparently been known somewhat for awhile with no action taken by Radical.
But it looks like now enough people have banded together to bitch about it that Radical comics is FINALLY taking this seriously. They are officially halting publishing until it's resolved. They are also trying to contact the other publishers of the series the material has been taken from (stolen is a better term).
I hope Radical Comics truly understands what their lack of action until now will cause them. People will lose trust in them.
Also they can face serious charges and such (especially since they have been told about this before but simply blew it off).
Seems to me this series, "Incarnate", isn't likely to stay around. After this crap, I don't think ANY company would be stupid enough to actually support it. And there was so little ORIGINAL stuff in it that you can't really make anything out of it.

Hajimete no Aku ch52 being started
Okay a raw for Hajimete no Aku ch52 has been uploaded to RAW Paradise. The translation has also been finished.
There is however one problem.
THE ONLY RAW FILE I HAVE COME ACROSS IS HORRIBLE!! THE QUALITY SUCKS BIG TIME!!
If anyone finds it in an actually "not sucking horribly" quality PLEASE TELL ME!
I'll start working with what I have. But I really can't expect too much from this. I would really prefer a better starting point for use.....photoshop can only do so much. And starting with good quality usually gives better end results.

Black Lagoon is back
The manga series "Black Lagoon" is one of my favorites. Volume 9 ended the last story arc and then it went into hiatus.
It's back. The RAW for ch77 has been posted. I hope this series returns to scanlation status soon. I love this series.

Another Anime Update
Okay.....I've seen all the first episodes of the series I believed I may be interested in. And I've also seen a bunch of the second episodes and here's my take.
Ladies VS Butlers is damn hysterical. Yeah it has nude scenes and such, but it's done in a comedic way. Basically making fun of the main characters VERY bad luck that puts him in these situations. It's my favorite so far.
Baka to Test Shokanju has lived up to my expectations as a good series. It has comedic mixed with action. As expected for a series making fun of Pokemon.....I love it. It's my second favorite for the new series'.
Dance in the Vampire Bund is alright. No distinguishing marks though. But it's alright nonetheless.
Omamori Himari is better than average. Action, Comedy, Eye Candy. It could be better, but it's alright how it is.
Seiken no Qwasar is pretty much horrible.
Hanamaru Kindergarten wasn't very good. Just ends up being a little kid show. Makes me wonder if it was created just to encourage lolicons in society.
And just a note......Hajimete no Aku ch48 has been cleaned for stage 1. Once the trans comes out I can do the typesetting and stage 2 cleaning.

Onihime VS update
Okay still waiting on that translation for Onihime VS that was supposed to be coming out. I have seen no sign of one, so I can only assume (even though I hate assumptions) that one will not be done any time soon.
Too bad, I was very much looking forward to it. And I know a few people who were looking forward to it as well.
And here's the cover for ch12 in case someone wants to see a reason for it to be popular.

I'll keep hoping that someone decides to take it up. I'll also keep cleaning any future RAWs for Onihime VS just in case someone picks it up.
